If you change plans, cancel and rejoin, or upgrade your subscription, billing adjustments depend on your payment method and timing. Please review the sections below.
1. Switching Plans (Upgrade or Downgrade) During an Active Subscription
For Card Payment Users
- Unused time from your current plan is prorated and applied toward your new plan’s cost.
- You may be charged the difference or receive a partial refund, depending on price.
Example (Downgrade): You paid $18 for a 1‑month plan and used 15 days. The unused half‑month ($9) offsets your new plan cost of $12—you pay the $3 difference.
Example (Upgrade): You paid $18 for a 1‑month plan and used 15 days. The unused half‑month ($9) offsets your upgraded plan cost of $25—you pay the $16 difference.
For PayPal Users
- We refund the unused portion first.
- Then you’re charged the full amount for your new plan.
Example (Downgrade): You paid $18 via PayPal for 1 month and used 15 days—refund: $9. Then PayPal charges $12 for the downgraded plan.
Example (Upgrade): You paid $18 via PayPal for 1 month and used 15 days—refund: $9. Then PayPal charges $25 for the upgraded plan.
2. Canceling Renewal and Rejoining
If you cancel auto‑renewal and later subscribe again, here’s how billing works:
- Immediate Charge: You pay up front for the new plan cost.
- Unused Time Credit: Any unused days from your previous plan are added to extend your new period.
Example: You cancel a 1‑month plan after 15 days. You then purchase a “50% off 1‑month promo” for $18. After paying $18, your 15 unused days are tacked onto the end—giving you 1 month + 15 days total access.
